BIOGRAPHY

TAYLOR MCNELIS
Founder/Sole Member of Wild Lion Productions.
I was born in Panama City, Florida, and lived all over the U.S and even Germany throughout my childhood. I have a younger brother who played College Soccer and I played football for JMU. Diehard Jacksonville Jaguars fan, and live and breathe football. So how did I get into video production? Good question because I'm not entirely sure how I did either haha.
It all started in High School english class when we read Macbeth, and our teacher gave us the option to make a video instead of writing a report or making a presentation on the story. Naturally, my friends and I didn't want to write paper and why not make one of us dress up as Lady Macbeth? I guess you could say it started then, but it was never a serious passion of mine; my passion was always football and I grinded constantly to make that dream happen and eventually got to play for James Madison University.
During my time in college I continued making videos on the side, short films, music videos and of course just goofy skits with my friends. It was then, when I realized I could actually do something with this skill; not only was it something I enjoyed, and naturally talented at, it was a desired skill that people wanted. So I continued taking business classes while teaching myself shot composition, lighting, framing, editing, etc. Eventually I switched Majors to study Video Production and was able to network with so many other talented people in my field. The rest is history as they say.
A simple High School Class project my friends and I did to get out of a writing assignment sparked my film career. I love what I do and my goal is to continue creating entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
